I’ve just read this post.
100 people die every day from drug overdoses.
2.6 million people with addictions have a dependence on both alcohol and illicit drugs.
These stats are shocking in them selfs- just think out it: at least 80-90 million people worldwide use drugs and 100 die EVERYDAY from over doses! That is almost 37000 people every year! Now that much not sound like much, but just think out it. Each of these people must of had something bad going on in their lives. Something bad enough to take to drugs. These people probably didn’t know Jesus when they died, so they died in their sins and, well, you know where you go when you die in your sins.
Thankfully, there is still hope. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world, to save it from it’s sins. Romans 10:9 says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” It is SO easy! However, most people won’t want to receive this free gift. It is SO sad!
These statistics are indeed numbing to learn about.

Thanks for reposting, Tom. I do believe God put us in one another’s path for this very reason. I pray the Lord to use each of us to speak to hearts. The world is in code blue, so let’s shine the Light! God bless your diligence and faith.
