How a slug stopped a train in Japan. This is NOT a joke!

Ok. Do any of you have a garden with veggies? I do. However, there is one pest that I’m fighting in my little spot- slugs. They eat anything- beans, peas, strawberries, you name it! However, it seems that slugs are very annoying to railways to! Yes, a slug stopped a train!

About one month ago, nearly 30 trains where moving up and down the tracks, carrying almost 12000 people. Then all that changed.

The slug squeezed through a gap in the equipment next to the tracks and, er, made a short-circuit. It’s electrocuted remains were later found lodged inside the equipment. It just goes to show that these pests are more annoying than just munching at your veggies…
